Are there additional booking charges?

Hotel In Egmond is not an intermediary, but the owner of your holiday accommodation, so we do not charge extra costs. Hotelinegmond.nl covers various hotels and apartments on the North Holland coast, namely: Hotel Zuiderduin, Strandhotel Golfzang, Hotel Mare Liberum, Hotel de Vassy, Hotel de Boei, Hotel Neptunus, Appartementen de Egmonden, Lido Appartementen and Natuurlijk Appartementen in Egmond aan Zee and Strandhotel Het Hoge Duin in Wijk aan Zee.

How can I make a reservation?

You can make a reservation online as well as by telephone. It is also possible to make reservations at the reception desk of the hotel. The reservation is subject to availability.

Online booking

Making an online reservation is easy:

  1. Select the desired offer, hotel room or apartement. Click on 'Prices and availability' or 'Reserve this room'.
  2. Select the desired arrival & departure date, number of rooms and number of persons. Click on 'Check availability'.
  3. Click on the 'Select' button for the desired room.
  4. Add any extras to the reservation and click 'next' to enter your details.
  5. Fill in your name and address or log in with your account. Click on 'I want to check my booking'.
  6. Check the reservation, choose your payment method* and click 'I want to pay'. 

Once you have completed all the steps, you will receive a booking confirmation at the e-mail address you provided. 

* Have you opted for an online payment method? Select your bank and follow the instructions to complete the payment.
* Have you chosen 'Pay on arrival'? Then we ask you to pay the total amount at check-in.

After a completed booking, we will send you a reservation confirmation to the e-mail address you provided.
Did you not receive a confirmation? Check whether the confirmation ended up in your spam or unwanted e-mail. Did you not receive the confirmation? Then contact us on +31 (0)72750 2000 or fill in the contact form.

I have booked through an external party. Can I cancel this reservation with you?

If you have made your booking through an external party, we cannot cancel or change it. Please contact the customer service of the organisation concerned.

What are your cancellation conditions?

Subject to our terms and conditions, it is possible to change your stay date or cancel free of charge up to 3 or 7 days before arrival. This only applies to a reservation in one of our hotels and also depends on the period in which your stay falls.

  • You can cancel the booking free of charge up to 72 hours before arrival. Afterwards 100% cancellation costs. 
  • A (one-time) rebooking up to 24 hours before arrival is possible free of charge. Rebooking costs of €25.00 will be charged within 24 hours before arrival.

  • This applies to reservations which you book directly with our hotel (not when booking through a booking agency).
  • These cancellation conditions are not valid for the Last Minute Special (Non Refundable).

Apartments

Have you booked a apartment at Lido Appartementen, Appartementen de Egmonden or Natuurlijk Appartementen? Then you can change or cancel your reservation free of charge up to 1 month before arrival.

Can I park free of charge in Egmond aan Zee?

Paid parking applies in Egmond aan Zee:

  • 1 March to 1 November, from 10 am to 7 pm.
  • 1 November to 1 March, on Saturdays and Sundays from 10. a.m. to 7 p.m. Free parking applies on all other days.

Can I park my car at the hotel?
  • Hotel Zuiderduin
    Guests of Hotel Zuiderduin can use our parking deck or the parking garage free of charge. This is subject to availability. Important: by order of the fire brigade, it is not allowed to park electric cars in our garage. You can park your electric car on our parking deck.

  • Strandhotel Golfzang
    Guests of Strandhotel Golfzang can park in the parking garage of Golfzang based on availability, for €14.00 per night. Exception is the parking of electric cars: by order of the fire brigade, it is not allowed to park electric cars in our garage. You can park your electric car outside the hotel grounds by means of a digital parking permit, available at the hotel reception; this costs €7.00 per night.

  • Hotel De Dennen
    Guests of Hotel De Dennen can park in the parking garage or in the driveway, for €7.00 per night. This is based on availability. By order of the fire brigade, electric cars are not allowed to park in our garage. Please note that the height of the garage is 2 metres, which means you cannot park your bus, car with roof box or bikes on the bike carrier in the garage. If the car has a low bumper or bike carrier low above the ground, you cannot use the parking garage because of the steep entrance. Cars can then be parked in the driveway. If no parking space is available in the driveway, cars can be parked outiside the hotel grounds. You can ask for a parking permit at our reception, which costs €7,00 per night.

  • Hotel de Boei, Hotel de Vassy, Hotel Mare Liberum en Natuurlijk Appartementen
    Guests of Hotel de Boei, Hotel de Vassy, Hotel Mare Liberum and Natuurlijk Appartementen can park outside the hotel grounds by means of a digital parking permit through the hotel reception, this costs €7.00 per night.

  • Lido Appartementen
    Lido Appartementen has its own car park. We offer 1 parking space per apartment. Here you can park your car free of charge.

  • Appartementen de Egmonden
    Appartementen de Egmonden has a parking garage. Guests of de Egmonden can park here free of charge subject to availability. Important: by order of the fire brigade, it is not allowed to park electric cars in the garage of de Egmonden. You can park your electric car on the parking deck of the Egmonden.
I have to end my stay ahead of time. Can I get a refund?

Only if cancellation insurance has been taken out with us is a refund possible in certain cases. Please review important information on cancellation insurance such as: the extent of cover, conditions, benefits and obligations of the policyholder.

In case the stay was booked through another party, there is no cancellation insurance taken out with Hotel in Egmond. Should you be insured with another party, we advise you to claim the unused nights there. If proof of early departure is required, we will be happy to provide it.

Breakfast is included when staying in a hotel room at our hotels.

What time can I check in and out?

Your room is available from 3 p.m. on the day of arrival. Check-out on the day of departure no later than 10:30 a.m.

Are you staying in the suite of Hotel Zuiderduin? Then you have until 12.00 to check out.

Where can I check in and out?

Hotel Zuiderduin:
At Hotel Zuiderduin, you can check in and out 24/7.

Beach Hotel Golfzang:
At beach hotel Golfzang, you can check in and out 24/7.

Lido Apartments and Hotel de Boei:
You can check in at Hotel de Boei's reception if you are staying in one of the Lido flats. Hotel de Boei is located opposite Lido flats. The reception of Hotel de Boei is open until 19:00 on Fridays and Saturdays and until 18:00 on Sundays. On weekdays, reception is open daily until 17:00. Outside these opening hours, you can check in at Hotel Zuiderduin, located at Zeeweg 52 in Egmond aan Zee.

Flats De Egmonden:
During the high season, the reception of De Egmonden is open on Saturdays from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm. On all other days, you should check in at Hotel Zuiderduin, Zeeweg 52 in Egmond aan Zee.

Natuurlijk Apartments:
You can check in at the reception of Hotel Zuiderduin, Zeeweg 52 in Egmond aan Zee. For check-out, we also ask you to go to Hotel Zuiderduin.

Hotel de Boei:
On Mondays and Fridays you can check in at Hotel De Boei until 19.00 and on other days you can check in at Hotel de Boei until 17.00. After 17.00, you can only check in at the reception of Hotel Zuiderduin, Zeeweg 52 in Egmond aan Zee.

Hotel de Vassy:
The reception of Hotel de Vassy is open daily from 7.00 am to 7.00 pm. Outside these opening hours, you can check in at Strandhotel Golfzang, Boulevard Noord 8 in Egmond aan Zee.

Hotel Neptunus:
You can check in at the reception of Hotel Zuiderduin, Zeeweg 52 in Egmond aan Zee. We also ask you to go to Hotel Zuiderduin for check-out.

Hotel Mare Liberum:
Check-in is possible from 07:00 to 17:00 at the Hotel Mare Liberum reception. Outside these times, you should check in at Hotel Zuiderduin, Zeeweg 52 in Egmond aan Zee.

which facilities are free of charge?

Payments

An incorrect amount has been debited, what should I do?

Can children come along at reduced rates?

Effective as of 1-01-2024: Children up to 14 years stay at our hotels at a reduced rate. The discount percentage depends on the room type:

  • Stay in a double room: 25% discount for children up to 14 years of age.
  • Stay in a 3- or 4-bed room: 50% discount for children up to 14 years of age.
I cancelled after payment, when will I get a refund?

Depending on the availability of the required data, within 14 days.

Unfortunately, this is not possible. We offer deals at various times, including last minutes. To avoid disappointment, we try to communicate our offers as early as possible in the newsletter and on social media.

Is tourist tax included in the price?

All prices quoted on our websites for overnight stays include tourist tax and charges.

If you book a stay at Hotel Zuiderduin, you can easily add the dinner buffet to your online booking. After selecting your room and period of stay, you can add the dinner buffet on the desired date under 'Extras'.

Can I add a sauna visit to my booking?

If you book a stay at Hotel Zuiderduin, you can easily add a sauna visit to your reservation. Once you have selected a room and period of stay, add the sauna visit on the desired date under 'Extras'. Can I add a wellness appointment to my booking?

It is not possible to add a wellness appointment during your online booking. Booking and information via 072 750 2060 and info@zenmoodz.nl.

Can I add bowling to my booking?

It is not possible to add a reservation for bowling during your online booking. Reservations can be made at the reception of Hotel Zuiderduin, by telephone on 072 750 2040, via the request form on the Lucky Strike Bowling website or by sending an e-mail to info@luckystrikebowling.nl.

Can I add rental bikes to my booking?

At Hotel Zuiderduin, you can hire bicycles from BikeMike. Besides (electric) bicycles, you can also rent tandems, electric wheelchair bikes or beach wheelchairs here. Check the BikeMike website for more information.

Can I bring my assistance dog?

What business facilities can you offer?

Hotel Zuiderduin has a large number of meeting halls, ranging from 30 to 1000 m², available to reserve as part of various packages we offer. The halls can be reserved for: meetings, party events, exhibitions, dinners. Our meeting halls are equipped as standard with a projector with screen, sound system for the laptop, telephone, Wi-Fi, flipchart, whiteboard with required markers, notepads, pens and name cards. What is the largest hall capacity?

The space with the largest capacity is located in Hotel Zuiderduin: the Zuiderduinzaal, this room with an area of 1000 m² has a capacity of up to 800/1500 people. However, this depends on the setup.

In addition to the Zuiderduin Hall, the hotel also has the Abdijzaal (50-180 people), the Lamoraalzaal (120-380 people), the Ritz (250-300 people) and a large number of spaces with a capacity between 10-120 people.
